Some may say, big deal and that's fine, but for me, I have never hit a 265 yard 3 wood before. I drilled that ball and it ended up right in the center of the green. I had never hit it in my life but thought, what the heck. I said, "I can't get there" after all my R-9 15 degree is a great club but I only hit it about 240. I played in a scramble 2 weeks ago and gps said 265 to the center of the green of a par 5. I love my R-9 Supertri TP driver and fairway woods (3 & 5) and I hit them great. I mean let's face it, who doesn't love hitting the course with their buddies and pulling out a new stick to show it off? Guilty! I have resisted upgrading my woods for the last few years and I often roll my eyes when I see the catch words, "longer", "straighter", "extreme distance" "explosive", and any other word manufactures throw out. Everyone is guilty of buying into the hype that golf manufacturers put out there. Only a few rounds later we find out that our game is the same and that we hit the new club about the same as the one we had before. Year after year aren't we all like sheep? A new club comes out boasting some new technology and an even higher price tag than the previous model and we convince ourselves that we need a new club to improve our game. Ps.The white color didnt bother me at all and this is my first white club.ĥ3 out of 56 people found this review helpful. Off the Deck.RBZ out distanced the Adams by about 2 to 3 yards.Īs far as feel is concerned both clubs feel like a driver off a tee whether from the fairway or tee.Really nice feeling clubs.Īccuracy goes to the RBZ it seems much more forgiving it also seems to be better from the rough as well.Ĭonclusion.I am a person who struggles to play to my 16 handicap so I need accuracy first and foremost. The RBZ is going in my bag for this reason.I did not see the 17 yard gain but the Adams F11 is a superb club for distance so this was probably a factor. The fact is for me this club is NOT a game changer but was still worth getting. Off the Tee.RBZ out distanced the Adams by about 5 to 8 yards on average. 61 out of 66 people found this review helpful.īought the RBZ 3 wood with 15.5 degree loft and took it out to the course to match it against my current 3 wood which is also a slot technology club the Adams Speedline F11 at 15 degrees loft.
